  • AT&T UVerse Battery Failure Causes 22 Day Outage!



    On Monday, January 2, 2012, the battery in the UPS of my AT&T UVerse unit failed, causing my TV, internet, and home phone to go out. We called customer service, who told us that a new battery would be delivered by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4. When no battery arrived, we called customer service again on January 5. They told us that, due to "High Demand," they could not deliver a battery, replacement unit or otherwise get us ANY service until January 24 or after.     I found online Att U Verse 450 bundle for $147.00/ monthly offer good until 7/17/10. When I tried to order it I was told sorry that promoyion is over but you can still have that bundle for $192.00/ monthly. That's to exspensive for me so I was told if that's to much then I need to look at a lower priced bundle. There was nothing they could do online.     When I switched from Comcast last October, I questioned the availability of CLTV (Chicagoland TV)which was channel 37 on Comcast. I was told that it was being worked on. I didn't mind too much(even though it's news is excellent) until now, since it is also a alternate channel for Cubs and Sox games. I called customer service and received a scripted answer.     Since Feb 1, 2010 we have had numerous issues with AT&T customer service and our phone/fax issues. We were lied to about U-verse service when we were told that everything would remain the same and we would be paying less per month for the services by signing up with U-verse. We have lost our faxing capabilities/ringmaster, lost our home phone number that we had for nearly 10 years, our home alarm system doesn't work, and most recently we were told that we wouldn't get the $300 rebate card that we were promised when we signed up and agreed to cancel our Dish Network contract...   • LOUSY SERVICE/BROKEN PROMISES



    JUST LOOK AT MY RECORD--3 SERVICE CALLS SINCE SERVICE WAS INSTALLED 6 WKS AGO--I WORK FROM HOME OVER THE INTERNET AND WITH PHONE AND HAVE LOST OVER $450 PAY FROM SERVICE BEING DOWN, PLUS OVER 120 MINUTES ON MY CELL PHONE CALLING YOU BECAUSE MY HOME PHONE WASN'T WORKING.     ATT uverse promises to deliver audio and video under their cable tv programing. My audio has been intermittent from the outset. I did receive a credit for the shoddy service applicable to the television portion of the bill with a promise that this item was a "HOT TICKET" and would be repaired forthwith.   • u-verse down every day



    Every day since jul 19, my U-Verse goes down from 05:30pm thru 06:30pm, 4 tech came over to my house nobody can fix the problem. That changed my RG Gateway and moves to another location in the room, same problem. Today Aug 2 still having the same problem it came down a )6:04pm and i take 1/2 hour to come back.     All I want to do is add another receiver, as I added a TV to my home, to which they charge an extra $7/mo for. I called and scheduled an appointment for Thursday June 18th, and was told a tech would be here between 12 and 2... no tech showed up ... called Uverse customer support, to which I was told the techs were running an hour and half behind, yet no one paid us a courtesy call to tell us this.     I have trouble with my remote, frequently. Now, I can't even get the TV to work with the DVR! Can't seem to set up my old video/DVD player to be compatible with your system. Now, I have purchased a Wii system and can't find directions for that either. After fiddling with it I am desparate - the TV doesn't work anymore with the AT&T DVR and the DVR wouldn't turn off.   • editting weather on my T.V.



    I would like to set up the "Uverse Weather" and Sports on my ATT Uverse screen on my Television. It tells me to get on-line (OK...I did) then the info on the T.V. tells me to "Edit" the weather content module, traffic is based on Zip Code. This MODULE does not exist on the website. Come on AT&T! Why do you have to make it so difficult tto check the weather..wherever I want to inquire about the weather? This is something that should be accessable from the remote for the ATT Box. More...

  • improve movies & On demand



    I'm concerned that you guys don't want my business, and the reason I say that is because your movies on regular TV just don't cut it. Your On demand movies are boring not to mention meaningless to even watch. I really like U-Verse, but your movies need a lot of work. I've been with you guys for a short period, but my patience for staying is running out. Please consider improving your movies on regular TV and On demand, they need help. Direct TV and Comcast, On demand movies but U-Verse to shame in both areas. Lets pick it up, its time. More...
